As Deputy Executive Director, Andrew supervises the development and execution of the organization’s project portfolio and strategic initiatives. Before joining NVERS, Andrew worked for the Central Virginia Healthcare Coalition as the RHCC Manager, and then as the Director, overseeing the Hospital Preparedness Program in Central Virginia. Andrew has also held positions in state government as a Public Policy Analyst for the Virginia Department of Juvenile Justice and the Office of the Virginia Secretary of Public Safety & Homeland Security. Andrew is a Medic and Associate Member of Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad in Henrico County, Virginia. Andrew holds bachelor’s degrees in Political Science & Business Administration from the University of Richmond. He obtained his master’s degree in Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness from Virginia Commonwealth University.
