As Manager of EMS Programs, Karen supports regional committees and programs focused on strengthening the emergency medical care provided by the region’s EMS agencies. Karen’s prior experience includes operations, planning, and emergency management for EMS agencies at a state lever, as well as 20+ years of experience as an EMT and firefighter. Karen received her doctorate in business administration from Columbia Southern University and holds a Masters in Pubic Safety Leadership from Christopher Newport University.
